For the most beautiful vacation that will remain in your memory forever, choose a vacation on a sailing yacht. By renting a sailing yacht you will relax completely and experience the Adriatic in a way that you cannot imagine while on land.
In our charter center in Biograd na Moru we have a large selection of beautiful modern sailing yachts that can accommodate from 8 to 12 passengers. Our sailing boats are located in the marina Kornati in Biograd na Moru which is the perfect starting point for your unforgettable adventure. The best and easiest way to get to Biograd is by plane because Zadar Airport is just a half an hour away by car.
Another advantage of our charter center in Biograd na Moru is the proximity of top sailing destinations. You can explore the north or south of the Adriatic and enjoy the beautiful Dalmatia.
Our recommendation for vacation this year is to explore the beautiful and magnificent islands of the Split archipelago - Brač, Hvar, Vis, and Šolta.
Start from Biograd na Moru and start sailing to the south. For your first stop our recommendations is to visit island Žirje and spend the night there. This is an only permanently inhabited offshore island among the Šibenik islands, and it will enchant you with its beauty. Anchor in the Stupica bay and enjoy the beautiful crystal clear sea. Stupica is located on the south side of the island of Žirje and is one of the most popular places to visit by a sailing yacht. Explore this island with rich history. Due to its position, the island has had the role of an outpost, so the Byzantine Emperor Justinian in the 6th century built the late antique fortress Gradina (above the bay Stupica). You can walk to the fortress and enjoy a spectacular view out to the sea.
After this quick break, it’s time to head south. Brač, Hvar, Vis, Šolta, whichever island you choose to visit you will not make a mistake.
We recommend visiting one of these islands each day. This way you’ll get the real feeling of what they have to offer.
Brač is the third largest island in the Adriatic and is situated just across the channel from Split. It has many towns and villages that will amaze you. Supetar is the largest settlement on the island of Brač. It is the economic, cultural and tourist center of the island. On the other side there is also Milna, smaller but famous fishing village. Zlatni rat in Bol on Brač is the most famous Croatian beach, which changes its shape due to the weather.
The island of Brač is known for the quality stone from which many monuments and buildings have been built, including the White House in the United States.
Enjoy the flavors of Dalmatian dishes: fish, seafood, olive oil, pasta, and fresh fruits and vegetables. Brač cuisine has another ace up its sleeve - lamb.
Hvar is the most famous Croatian island where everyone will find a place for themselves. Whether you want an intimate quiet corner or a crazy wild party, Hvar has it all.
The world's biggest stars had fun here - from Prince Harry to Beyonce and Jay Z. Hvar is one of the largest Adriatic islands and has several settlements and towns where you will find something to your liking.
However, what all these places on the island have in common are numerous architectural and cultural monuments that testify the rich past of the island. While visiting the island Hvar, it would be a shame not to anchor and swim in the Paklinski otoci. Palmižana is the most famous port on these islands. Here you can find numerous restaurants and lounge bars for a complete relaxation.
You can anchor in marinas or in numerous bays on the buoy - whichever suits you better. By renting a sailboat, you decide how and where you will spend your vacation. Our advice is to hire a skipper along with the sailboat. The skipper will make sure you sail safely and that you get to your desired destination relaxed. In addition, all our skippers are well acquainted with the best places to visit so they will suggest where to go and what to do according to your wishes.
Vis has long been a widely known nautical destination on the Adriatic. Our skippers will recommend this island as a place you must visit. Still, sometimes there can be a big crowd in the harbor, but any good skipper will make sure in time that there is available place for mooring and anchoring.
Upon arrival on Vis you will feel like you are in another world. You will realize that there is no reason to hurry, that everything can be done slowly, just like the locals do. Sufficient distance and isolation from the mainland enabled Vis to maintain a stress-free Mediterranean lifestyle.
Words and terms “Fjaka” and “Dolce far niente” have a whole new dimension here and one could quickly get used to such a slow rhythm of life. When you are on Vis, be sure to visit the famous beaches of Stiniva and Srebrna, which will enchant you with their extraterrestrial beauty.
Sail to the second-largest coastal town - Komiža, which is a charming star of the south. Island Biševo and its blue cave are near island of Vis and are one of the most famous tourist destinations that you should not miss.
On the way back to the mainland, visit Šolta - a beautiful island of rich flora and especially fauna (over 100 species of birds, rabbits, wild boars…), which has been inhabited since prehistoric times. Discover the settlements and forts that this beautiful island has and take them with you in memory of the best vacation ever.
